One of the beautiful things about life is how we fall into rhythms–those steady patterns that shape our seasons. At CrossPoint, one of those rhythms we cherish every summer is our All Staff Retreat, and it’s more than just a tradition, it’s a family reunion.
Each year, nearly 100 of our staff members, half paid and half volunteer, come together from across all our locations. It’s the one time every year we’re all in the same place, sharing stories, laughter, learning, and vision. It’s fun, it’s powerful, and it’s always a turning point as we look back with gratitude and look ahead with faith.
This year’s retreat is no exception–but I believe it’s more important than ever before.
Not because of a crisis.
Not because of a problem to fix.
But because we are turning our hearts toward something deeper: prayer.
Our theme this year is building a stronger, more pervasive culture of prayer at CrossPoint. And as the saying goes, churches begin to look like their leaders. So, we’re challenging ourselves, and all our leadership, to lean into prayer in a fresh way: personally, corporately, and boldly.
You may not see the retreat firsthand, but I truly believe the ripple effects will be felt throughout our entire church family. Our prayer is that this focus becomes life-changing, church-shaping, and eternity-impacting.
Would you join us in this?
Would you pray for our prayer life?
Pray that the leaders of CrossPoint will be passionately connected to the heart of God. That we would seek Him in all things. That prayer would not be an add-on or a last resort, but the very heartbeat of our ministry.
Imagine with me: a church not known for busyness or surface-level faith, but for being a praying people, a church that intimately knows and follows God.
That’s the vision. That’s the hope. That’s the rhythm worth leaning into.
Our All Staff Retreat is scheduled for July 17th through the 19th. Please be in prayer before, during, and after, and join us on a new journey diving deeper into our spiritual life with a prayer emphasis that hopefully shapes the future.
